Penske’s largest profit sector comes from their car services at their dealership lots. The challenge was to engage their existing customers and improving the ease of connecting with their local dealership. On the consumer side, the Penske mobile app would alert and notify car maintenance work, schedule service pick up, and communicate any relevant information to the car owner. Car dealerships was also reimagined for the mobile age. By placing interactive digital displays for learning and designed car installations for viewing, a more engaging experience was presented. On the business to business side, the Penske platform would alert dealers who are car-shopping nearby, give a quick touch text regarding any car statistic, and communicate among other connected dealers nearby. This would empower and equip the team with expedited knowledge, creating more sales on the floor.
